Finding Grace in Your Holiday

What do you want for Christmas this year? I don’t mean diamonds or cars, I mean what do you really want to feel more of in your life, not just at Christmas but for the whole next year? How about feeling more calm, beauty, joy, love, happiness, lightness, forgiveness, peace, permission, surrender, acceptance, patience, tolerance, sense of belonging, community, heart, connection, well-being, or safety? These are all qualities of grace: beauty and elegance in action. As one of my teachers, Sundari says, “Grace is not something to be achieved, but rather uncovered because it is already there”.

While we can all work at putting more energy into creating what we really want, one way to get their more easily and efficiently is by choosing a structured daily practice like the 30 Days to Grace CD. Through a series of guided activities including deep breathing, yoga poses, meditation, and journaling, 30 Days to Grace helps you focus your energy, thoughts, and consciousness on a specific intention and find a simple daily practice to make that intention a deeper part of your life. Through this structured daily work of just 30 minutes a day first thing in the morning, you not only benefit from the power of intention, you also uncover new ideas, awakenings, and possibilities.

You don’t have to wait until Christmas to find grace in your life. You can begin today, by deciding what you want to feel more of, right here, right now. Speak your intention out loud, in the affirmative, as if it is already happening. For example: I am calm. I am peaceful. I am loved and loving. I am joyful. Through the guided activities, you’ll experience what it’s like to feel more of what you really want in your life, allowing you to find grace in your holiday, your relationships, your illness, your career, or in any other challenge you may be facing.

I urge you not to put this off! Finding grace is hardest when we need it most. We don’t need to wait until the new year to address our “resolutions” (another word for intentions), Start this powerful practice immediately so that you can go deeper with what really matters in your life toward making important changes like losing weight, improving communication with your spouse, or increasing your revenue in the next 30 days – all benefits of feeling more of what we want to feel.
