Thrive in ’25 with ONE Thing!

It’s the time when we are inundated with tips, tricks, and resolutions to make this year our best one yet. Our current “more is better” culture promotes, 50 Things I Wish I Started Doing Earlier in Life, 25 Simple Ways to Take Care of Yourself and 55 New Years Resolutions for 2025. These are all great for generating ideas, but I am overwhelmed by the sheer number of choices which is why I invite you to choose ONE thing to focus on to thrive in your new year.

The ONE thing is a theme with an actionable word that has true heart and meaning for you to apply to all areas of your life, including your health, relationships, work, and money.

My word is Plan, which means spending more time and energy on the front end of ideas, projects, and priorities and less on the back end, to help prevent frenetic pushing through to completion. When you underestimate the amount of time and energy things take, it leads to frustration, disappointment, and exhaustion, the opposite of thriving.

After you determine your ONE thing, create an action step to support yourself in it. For example, many of my clients find it helpful to time block things they know are important and want to commit to, but somehow get lost in the shuffle.

Time Blocking activities you want to do but never seem to make time for allows you to focus ON your life instead of just IN your life. Time-block an hour for reflection right now to determine your ONE thing. Write, walk, talk, create a vison board, visit your favorite coffee shop, or anywhere else that gives you the space and time to get grounded and clear to know what will help you thrive.
