“Diane’s Costa Rica yoga retreat cracked my heart wide open. Fully aligned with nature, I played like the monkeys in the trees, moved fluidly and powerfully like the warm Costa Rican waves and danced in the moonlight like a firefly. I also tripped over the occasional jungle root, so pack a headlamp. Still working on that grace thing! Many thanks, Diane, for offering me the opportunity to play and live from the heart.”

WHAT TO BRING Pack lightly! A separate letter of recommended items will come after registration. In general the usual, yoga mat, bathing suit, sunglasses, sun screen, book, and a camera!

PASSPORT/ VISA/ VACCINATIONS You MUST have a valid passport to enter Costa Rica, it must not expire within 30 days of your arrival for Americans and 180 days for other nationalities. Please check with the appropriate consulate.

You do not need a Visa to visit Costa Rica, as an American, other nationalities should check with the consulate.

There are no necessary vaccinations for Costa Rica. However, if you are concerned about any potential illnesses or warnings, we recommend visiting the CDC website and address personal concerns with your family physician. Though there are mosquitoes and other insects, there are fewer concerns there than many American cities.

If you have a BEE allergy, please let me know, as there are scorpions that have a similar sting. THOUGH none have been seen by previous yoga retreaters, and the stings are rare, a couple Benadryl are excellent to have on hand if you have sensitivity. If you have a severe allergy, I want to make certain the necessary precautions are in place.

I hope this answers everything. If there are any other questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me at diane@dianesieg.com.

The power of “getting away” cannot be overstated.

There is something about changing your environment and energy on the outside that allows you inside passions and perceptions to awaken, renew, and revitalize. Retreats have been critical to me in my personal and professional development and facilitating others in a Retreat setting is one of my favorite things to do. You choose the setting and framework for your group and I can customize our time together based on your goals and needs.

Diane has been facilitating Retreats since 1996. Get away for a day or an entire weekend to a beautiful rustic mountain lodge in Colorado, a beach house on the coast, or any place in between where all of your needs are taken care of and you have only to focus on yourself.

Diane can lead activities including team building, inspirational and motivation workshops, yoga, snow-shoeing, swimming, creative visualization, walking meditation, sharing circles, hiking, journaling, guided imagery, dream setting, and purposeful quiet time.

When you give yourself the gift of slowing down and taking care of you, everything becomes much more clear, and confusing and overwhelming issues in your life can be met head on in a safe and supportive environment.

“This trip was a journey to find my way back to myself. I was in this beautiful space where everyone exuded pure intention and care. The yoga was grounding and gave me confidence in my body. It provided an opportunity to get in the flow of nature – rising and sleeping on the sun’s schedule. And most lovely for me were the friendships and amazing relationships I developed that I expect will be part of my life forever more. Today I am happy and living my life fully and I am grateful…”

“I gained strength from daily yoga with our ever-encouraging and inspiring teacher, Diane, communed with the beautiful natural world outdoors 24 hours a day, ate fabulous food without gaining any weight, gave absolutely no thought to the rest of the world (a true retreat) and became friends with a fantastic, supportive group of fellow travelers to this remote corner of Costa Rica. A winning week in all regards.”

“There are so few times in your life that an opportunity is presented with time to be still, time to recognize all that the world has to offer, to reach out, touch it through the emotional and physical development of a small group of people. Thanks to Diane and to all of you, this opportunity for me was our week together on the Osa Pennisula.”

“This trip pushed my “Refresh” button. It gave me perspective, a new way of looking at myself and the world around me. I felt comfortable to just “be,” to enjoy, to embrace. Practicing yoga two times a day helped still my mind and bend my body in new ways. It gave me energy, openness and new focus. It was a week well spent connecting with nature and some amazingly wonderful friends.”

“Costa Rica was the ultimate de-stress vacation. I was able to nurture myself physically, spiritually and nutritionally in paradise amongst a supportive group of people who became friends. It was an awesome way to de-stress, recharge and live my life more fully (and my yoga skills improved also!). I’m so glad I decided that I deserved this retreat!”

“This trip was so refreshing. I came back relaxed, renewed and ready for life! It also invigorated my yoga practice!”
